How are the investors vetted to have credible funds?

Each investor as part of the registration process is required to be an accredited investor within the State of California. The requirements can be found on the Ca.gov website.

What is the rate of returns expectancy for investors on the businesses listed with MFC Business Connect?

As each deal structure is significantly unique the returns investors may expect vary widely on investors own preference and expectations. In some deals investors have seen scheduled disbursements of revenue less than 60 days after initial investment.

What is MFC Business Connect allowed to provide in terms of financial and investment advice.

a. MFC Business Connect does not operate as a holding company. Zero investor funds will be inverted by MFC employees or representatives of MFC Business Connect. b. MFC Business Connect does not participate in negotiations leaving both parties to consider the terms sheets by their own due processes. We recommend to both parties to get a certified financial advisor while considering the terms of investment. c. MFC does not provide business owners investment advice regarding any offer or possible investment that may accrue.

What can I access when I login?

When you login as an investor on MFC business Connect you will be able to view your dashboard which encompasses previous investments, the updated projects your favored in browse business categories, and you will be able to provide a brief description of your background. b. When you login as a business owner on MFC Business Connect you will be able to provide the pivotal information that investors will view on our website. At any moment you can update and change the information regarding your business.

I am a new visitor to MFC Business Connect. How do I login? How do I register?

Throughout our site you can be redirected to investor/ business owner registration tabs. Even more effectively go to the home page and view the column where it mentions Register now. IF you click on this tab, it will ask where you wish to register as a business owner or investor. Once the application is filled out and submitted our staff will be alerted and reach out to you shortly for final confirmation.

How do I sign up as an investor/business owner?

Currently, you must register separately as a business owner or investor. If you wish to become an investor and are already a registered business owner on MFC; please refer to the requirements for becoming an investor on MFC before applying. If you are an investor and wish to last your business with MFC than submit the registration form of approval.

How do we address liability concerns for the investor?

MFC Business Connect currently upholds unique relationships with business attorneys in the Southern California region; whom have many years of experience in writing terms sheets with built in protections that serve both parties. By MFC Business Connect not participating within negotiations investors are able to add their own built-in protections to term sheets.

What is the minimum/ maximum investment size allowed on the MFC Business Connect platform?

Currently MFC Business Connect operates with a minimum investment of $25,000 USD and a zero-maximum policy.

What are the expectations of being an investor with MFC Business Connect?

MFC Business Connect represents the expectations to business owners that our investor is knowledgeable, responsible, and will in their best abilities help with the success of the small business they invest within.

How are the terms for investment set?

MFC Business Connect does not participate within negotiations. There are not set terms in which each deal must include. The investor and business owner will establish their own terms sheet and provide the document to MFC Business Connect.

What are the qualifications required to become an investor on MFC Business Connect?

The person(s) needs to be accredited investors within the state of California. These terms can be found on the ca.gov website.

What are the fees associated with becoming a registered investor on MFC Business Connect?

There are zero sign up fees/ monthly premiums. Only once a transaction occurs will a one-time 5% of total invested capital service fee be taken from the investment so the business will receive 95% of total capital invested.

How do we address security concerns for the business owner?

Similarly, to the investors by using qualified business attorneys each business owner can add built in protections to their terms sheet that should mitigate some of the risks and concerns with taking on an outside investment. As well business owners are encouraged to provide NDA agreements to protect IP and valuable comfortable information. You can do this through the document upload section of the business registration tab. If a company provides an NDA; investors will be required to submit a signed copy prior to viewing more information regarding the business.

If I have already received outside funding for my business, can I still use MFC Business Connect services?

Yes, you may still post your funding requirements on MFC Business Connect and register to be a business owner. However, you will have to disclose the post money valuation and attach a non-confidentiality copy of the prior terms sheet. This increases transparency with our investors.

How long does it typically take for a business to receive a capital investment?

As each business and idea is different there is no normal time range one can expect. Typically, within seven days of being posted on the website; MFC Business Connect will be able to have at least one registered investor reach out.

How are the terms for investment set?

The investment terms are set through direct negotiations between the business owner and investor(s). MFC Business Connect does not provide terms that are required per investment. This allows flexible deal structures that favor small business growth.

What are the fees associated with becoming a business owner on the MFC Business Connect website?

At MFC Business Connect we charge business owners zero sing up fees, zero monthly costs, and zero investment fees. We believe that being the backbone of America should not come with expanding costs and our purpose is to strengthen small business owners to become more versatile in market downfalls.
